Tyndale Bookroom will be hosting the 3rd School of Preaching (SoP) at the Lusaka Baptist Church Tent of Meeting some time mid year from 09:00hrs to 16:00hrs (keep logging on for actaul dates). The school of preaching is designed to equipt preacher's and teacher's, to spur them to greater heights of ministry and to flame their gift to the praise and glory of God.

Last year's SoP was graced by the presence of Mike Abendroth author of the book 'Jesus Christ: The Prince of Preachers: Learning from the Teaching Ministry of Jesus.

THE DEATH OF DEATH IN THE DEATH OF CHRIST: By John Owen.

Do you seek to have an understanding as to the reason why Christ died? For whom he died? Was his death universal or particular? These and many other questions will be answered in this 312 page book.

In this book Owen shows us the sovereign act of God in election. He disapproves the universality of the death of Christ. He shows cannot bring about his own salvation and the place of the cross is defined. The relation of Christ and the Father is also made known. It is a relation which transcends human relation. He magnifies the infinity of the grace of God as it is revealed in Christ being immeasurable. It is Christ who must communicate this grace to a sinner. This therefore shows how specific and personal salvation is applied.
