Lubu Road School
Lubu Road School is a ministry of Lusaka Baptist Church. Currently the school runs ten classes. Last year 2007, Lubu Road School produced its second grade 7 class with 100% pass. The school has a two, one by three classroom blocks. The second which has just been completed will be occupied by grades 2, 3, and 4 by mid of March.
Lubu Road School is a Christian school which offers very high educational and moral standards.
In order to build a new sanctuary the church has to demolish the classes as they are located at the church premises as that is where the new sanctuary will stand.
There is still need to build more classroom blocks for the remaining classes. To be included is a basic school section namely (grade 8 & 9) which in addition needs a science laboratory, a lecture room and so on.
Resources needed to complete one block in this project is approximately K300m (approximately $80,000).
