Church Membership
- The church accepts members either through a profession of faith by
Christians coming from elsewhere or through baptism of those Christians
(usually recent converts) that have undergone a baptismal class. It is
however imperative that those wishing to be accepted as members commit
themselves to completely upholding the Holy Scriptures and committing
themselves to the church constitution and accompanying 1689 Baptist
Confession of Faith.
Lusaka Baptist Church is a reformed baptist church based in Lusaka the capital city of Zambia. It is centrally located and may be accessed from all the major bus and taxi stops.
The leadership and membership of Lusaka Baptist Church do take seriously the need for regular weekly fellowship. Everyone therefore is highly encouraged to place great importance on the attendance of all meetings.
Serving the Lord-
Church members are encouraged to serve the Lord their God with all
their hearts and beings and never to allow self to be the overriding
motive in all that is done, said and thought in the church.
Basis for Membership -
Church membership at Lusaka Baptist Church is based on a person's
having become a Christian by way of confession of sin to God through
the Lord Jesus Christ. For purposes of membership
prospective members of the church must agree with and uphold the tenets
of our constitution and accompanying document of the 1689 Baptist
Confession of Faith.
All church members are positively encouraged to active participate in the various avenues of service remembering that it is The Lord God whom we serve.
